Fit Out Manager

Permanent Fit Out Manager job- Principle Contractor - Nottingham based - Competitive salary + Package

Your new company
You will be working for a principle contractor as they undertake projects ranging across multiple sectors including MOJ, Education, Multi storey accommodation. The role will be to work alongside contracts managers, design resource and subcontractors to manage the fit out of modules before transportation to site. The role will be solely based in Nottinghamshire and will not require travel to site.

Your new role
The role will work closely with the Contract Manager and the Factory Manager to take an active role in the pre-construction and planning phase of contracts and manage the construction of the units through the factory to the point of delivery to site. The role will involve managing the fit out element of the project to programme and budget. You will also manage health and safety, including toolbox talks and liaising with the H&S Manager, You will be a key point of quality control completing the modules to desired specification. The role will require you to feedback ways of continuous improvement to the pre construction and design teams. You will have client liaison agreeing benchmarks with customers. This position will have require the successful candidate to manage subcontractors and make sure work is to the method statements.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing the position you will have experience in managing high quality fitout or shop fitting, strong communication skills and the ability to develop and manage programmes. You will have a good understanding of developing project programmes, Production of risk assessments and production of RAMS and a good understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.
