Estates Data Officer

Public Sector Organisation, Greater Belfast, £25,000 pro rata, 3 month + contract

Your new company
Our client is a public body who have a vast estate located across Northern Ireland. This organisations estate consists of modern and historic buildings, rural land, industrial warehouses and public building and facilities.

Your new role
This is an initially 3 month contract with the possibility for extension or permanent appointment. The post holder will play the lead role in, planning and transferring all current and future data into a newly procured computerised estates management system and managing the system and input of data thereafter. The role will also provide information to internal and external customers as necessary ensuring statutory, mandatory and regulatory compliance. The post holder will also be responsible for aspects of the day to day running of the department including the hard copy filing system and administration of other software systems such as their building management system.

What you'll need to succeed
The Person To be eligible for this position you must meet the following criteria:

• A HND (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as architecture, surveying, buildings management, engineering, etc AND 1 year's experience of working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) packages and/or estates/property management system.

• OR in the absence of a 3rd level qualification, 2 years' experience of working with CAD and/or estates/property management system.

• Experience of preparing surveys and drawings including use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) packages, e.g. PowerCAD, AutoCAD, etc

• Hold a current clean driving license and have access to a car

Salary range is £25,000 pro rata, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and 37 days annual leave pro rata. You will be paid weekly via BACS transfer and all business mileage will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
