Leading Progressive Builder requires Experienced SHE advisor to join their team.

Our client are one of Scotland's best builders who take pride in providing the people who work onsite a professional and safe environment to operate in as they build some of Scotland most interesting and challenging projects. With a recent upsurge in work they are seeking to add and experienced SHE advisor to their team.

Your new role

As SHE advisor or Senior SHE Advisor you will be responsible for working with the operational team to plan , implement and enforce compliant and effective site safety plans allowing our clients team to work in a safe manner. Working in partnership with all stakeholders onsite you will ensure that our clients reputation for safe working practices within a professional environment is maintained and developed over time. Our client puts workplace health and safety and sustainability at the forefront of their work patterns and you will be given the support and development in ensuring your role is effective and interesting.

Our client work on a range of publicly funded projects within education , leisure or community sectors and you will be working on projects up to £50million in scale.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate is a committed SHE professional supported by a NEBOSH qualification or health and safety qualification. You will be comfortable working on busy construction sites and understand the environment well along with its challenges and opportunities. You will have experience of working for a building contractor within medium to large scale site environments and are comfortable dealing with project stakeholders such as site teams , subcontractors and other interested parties.
