Your new company
We're pleased to be supporting a local authority client in recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor on a temporary basis. You'll be joining the Project delivery team and working alongside the Team Leader of Project Delivery.

Your new role
As the Senior Building Surveyor you will be expected to provide a comprehensive professional Building Surveying design and contract management service to internal and external clients, by delivering, controlling and managing construction related projects in a commercial and customer focused way. To engage with internal and external stakeholders and contractors ensuring that services are delivered to a high quality, are customer focused, responsive and represent value for money adopting a commercial approach.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally possess a construction related degree and have post qualification experience in a similar role. You will have experience of JCT & NEC forms of contract, preparation of specifications, feasibility studies, condition and measured surveys, condition reports, dilapidation surveys application of asbestos legislation and related matters. You will also have strong planning, contract and project management skills. You must hold a full and valid driving licence.
