Your new company
An established Civil contractor specialising in Public realms related projects in the greater London area. Working across a range of projects works are typically civil orientated and involve Hard landscaping, highway maintenance, street furniture, groundwork's and surfacing all for local authorities. Contracts from 200k - £3 million. With a long history in the sector, a stable workforce and several framework awards they offer stability and future workload in a competitive sector.

Following a recent contract win there is an urgent need for a Project manager to head up a £3 mill Hard landscaping contract int he Bexley area, The project is a major re-paving scheme with additional junction remodelling and road layouts. Starting within the next 4 weeks the project will run for the next 18 months with similar works to follow. This is a permanent opportunity.

Your new role
As PM you will be responsible for the setup and then delivery of the scheme, you will be site based and direct all commercial and operational decisions from programming and procurement through to sub contract management and health & safety enforcement. You will report to the MD on a fortnightly basis but mange your own team and be able to work with autonomy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant experience with a public realms/civils contractor and have delivered medium to large hard landscaping/paving contracts previous. You will be comfortable working in the Kent area and be looking for a permanent role. You will hold valid first aid, cscs and SMSTS qualifications
