A Successful London Based main contractor now seek a Site Manager to oversee one of several upcoming projects in the Kent & greater london area. £2 - 5 mill Commercial new build & Refurb.

A Successful London Based main contractor now seek a Site Manager to oversee one of several new schemes, Working across both New build and commercial schemes, Sectors include Education, Healthcare, office & High end residential. Works typically fall between the £5 to £20 Million range and encompass of mix of framework contracts and Privately tendered schemes. With a reputation for stability and embracing new technologies they are seeing a continued increase in the order-book and as such are strengthening existing teams to cope with the future workload. Examples of upcoming works include several new healthcare new build's in Kent totalling £6 mill, a £2 mill listed building refurb in Croydon and a £2 mill new build community centre in London.

Your new role
Working as No.1 on site you will be responsible for all site operations including running the operational site team, reporting to a contracts manager you will manage and direct the subcontractors, oversee H&S, Ensure compliance with the contract & design, Manage costs/variations with the QS and be the figurehead for the site liaising with all client and external stakeholders. You will be working with the company's bespoke computer software and ensure fortnightly site reports are complete. You will be involved from Site set-up through to completion and be comfortable running schemes upto £5 mill

What you'll need to succeed
You Will Be a No.1 on site Site manager with a stable work history. You will have a main Contractor background and have worked on new build schemes in the Commercial or education sector. You will be comfortable Leading the site as a number 1 including the various reporting/meeting that the role entails. You will be fully IT literate and hold valid 1st Aid, CSCS and SMSTS qualifications

What you'll get in return
£55000 p/a salary plus car allowance along with the chance to manage the scheme from Day 1 to handover with a stable, well established contractor
