Highways Design Engineer

Interim Highways Engineer job in the Midlands. Experience of Vehicle Restraint Systems is essential.


Your new role
As Senior Engineer the main purpose of your role is to deliver designs that are buildable and sustainable. Preparing and overseeing designs in relation to your field of expertise as directed and preparation and checking of technical reports. You'll also work with a small team of Engineers to deliver projects in accordance with the clients' brief.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant experience in the detailed design of highway related projects specifically Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS). Knowledge of highway's assets, the appropriate solutions for renewal or improvement and a thorough knowledge of Highways England Design Manuals and Specifications. A degree in Civil Engineering and professional membership of the ICE or similar or working towards professional status.
