Civils Manager - Residential Developer

Premium Residential Developer seeks Civils Manager to join their team.

Our client are a well respected residential builder developer based in Edinburgh. With a strong focus on premium high end new build and refurbishment they are recognised as a strong builder within this space who can offer their staff long term and sustainable careers. After reviewing their business they have identified the need for a Civils Manager to join their team to assist in the delivery of several large new build projects over the next 3 to 5 years.


Your new role
As Civils Manager you will be fully responsible for the delivery of multiple civils packages on premium high end residential developments in Edinburgh. You will work with the project team to develop effective methodologies for their civils works packages and then be responsible for the delivery of these packages through the supervision of direct labour force or management of subcontractors. This role encompasses has both a PM and a SM component and will be of interest to a civils site manager seeking to take their career in a slightly different direction.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has extensive experience of the delivery of complex civils and groundwork packages on building projects in Scotland. You will have a good technical understanding of the challenges of these packages built up perhaps through your time working as a Site Manager with a reputable civils subcontractor or main contractor. Ideally you will have been responsible for working on residential flatted developments. You will be expected to work as part of a team so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with a positive and solutions focused outlook to your work.
