Permanent Junior Planner role, Nottinghamshire, Main Contractor - Multi Sector, Design & Build, £Competitive

Your new company
You will be working for a leading specialist main contractor based in the Nottinghamshire area. The organisation operate in multiple sectors including; Education, MOD, Commercial, Residential, Retail and Student Accommodation. They are widely recognised as industry experts and have continued to go from strength to strength. Due to the continued success an exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Planner to join on a permanent basis.


Your new role
You will report directly to the pre-construction planner supporting the existing planning department with project programmes. You will update construction programmes, daily reports and risk programmes. You will be a key part in the successful implementation of new build projects from design to construction. This is a wide a varied role involving; progress reports, data analysis, forecasting and cost data. You will also develop programmes using network and critical path analysis techniques. You will liaise with subcontractors and in house departments.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, including facets of design,procurement and production. Further to this it would also be beneficial if you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Project/ Asta. You must have excellent IT & communication skills and have a proactive approach to tasks.
