We're pleased to be partnering with an organisation in Cambridgeshire who are looking to invest in the team and to recruit an Estates Surveyor at either graduate level or APC stage. You will be joining a multi-disciplined team which includes; surveyors, M&E, energy and support staff who look after a range of asset and property management issues for a diverse commercial and investment property portfolio.

With a strong support network around you, the organisation will assist you in moving your surveying career to the next level. If not already chartered the organisation will support you in becoming a chartered MRICS General Practice surveyor. The organisation has an APC Assessor and Counsellor in house and so can provide the very best level of support to you in order to achieve your career goals.

Your new role
As an Estates Surveyor, you will be assisting the team with a broad range of property related issues, providing expert advice to the clients whilst preparing and presenting reports. You'll be working with a varied and multi-million pound portfolio that consists of a mix of commercial, retail, industrial, operational and investment property.

The workload is diverse and will cover a range of duties such as; landlord and tenant work, rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions and disposals, valuations as well as working on complex planning and high profile development projects.

What you'll need to succeed
As an Estates Surveyor you will need to be passionate about Property. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will be working towards RICS Chartership. Experience of working in a similar surveying role will be highly beneficial. A knowledge of property and asset management will be important including experience of dealing with landlord and tenant matters, experience of valuations would also be highly beneficial.

What you'll get in return

You'll receive in-house support to complete your APC and will be able to take on projects in the various competency areas required in order to become chartered. You'll receive a salary of between £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience as well as up to 25 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme as well as a range of other flexible work benefits including a private health scheme. The team are currently working remotely in the main though there will be occasions when you'll have to go into the offices. The client has adopted a covid secure way of working to protect their team members.
