Project Manager / Sponsor required.

Your new company
I am working closely with a growing multi-discipline practice with professionally accredited offices across the South of England to secure an experienced project manager. You will be embedded in the client side overseeing an array of projects, whilst embodying the company values based on efficiency, flexibility, accessibility and being passionate about what you do. They are a building top 150 consultancy offering a multidisciplinary, integrated & coordinated service with clients across the UK and Europe.


Your new role
You will be involved in home working with visits to prison sites, projects include new build prisons, refurbishments, alterations and extensions. You will engage with a team of external consultants & reporting to senior client directors. Duties will include preparing the project brief and appointment documents, monitoring fees for consultants, managing project risks, preparing and updating project programmes and reports, leading project meetings including risk, value engineering and progress meetings.


What you'll need to succeed

• A good understanding and experience in use of IT including Word, Excel, e-mail and the internet.
• Competent user of MS Projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organisational skills in prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
• Flexible, positive approach and willingness to travel to meetings and sites across the South of England
• Client facing skills, personable but with commercial awareness.
• Good understanding of project management processes.
