Minor Adaptions Trusted Assessor Team Manager required for exciting new role.

Your new company
One of the UKs leading providers of Mobility and Healthcare equipment and structures to support assisted living in existing houses. Examples of their work include creating ramps and stair rails and similar mobility adaptions to existing houses.

Your new role
Minor Adaptions Trusted Assessor Team Manager who will oversee a number of projects at any one time ensuring that the team of workers under you are sticking to program, working effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines and ultimately providing customer satisfaction.

Main duties include:

* To act as principle point of contact with external customers (Trusts) and internal stakeholders in the delivery of contractual agreements.
* To recruit, manage, train, and develop a skilled team in the timely delivery of all activity relating to minor adaptions and trusted assessment.
* Shadow direct reports on client activity to ensure work is being carried out and completed to required standard.
* Ensuring training and qualification compliance for all direct reports in line with ISO and contractual requirements.
* A qualified Trusted Assessor, for which training will be given on appointment.
* To promote a Safety-First Culture at all times in line with company HSE policy.
* Planning- To ensure resource plans are in place and colleagues are allocated work in line with business needs, regardless of location within a pre agreed geographical area.
* Managing activities such as, but not limited to, installing concrete steps, ramps, galvanised key clamp metal external handrails to steps, staircases, and paths. Providing direct operational support if required.
* Managing the installations as appropriate to floors, walls and ceilings from a range of community equipment items and in accordance with specified instructions. Providing direct operational support if required.
* Responsible for the development and ongoing updates of all risk assessments and procedures relating to the above lines of activity, in partnership with the H&S and governance team.
* Working in partnership with Fleet ensuring all vehicles and required daily checks are carried out and that vehicles are maintained to the required legal and policy standards.
* Working in partnership with the procurement team to ensure the correct pricing, purchasing and availability of equipment in line with demand and forecasted run rates.
* Ensure all actively is completed to schedule and can evidence that all documentation is filed correctly to support both internal and external audits.
* Ensures all stock is reconciled by all direct reports on a weekly basis and assist with annual and interim stocktakes as required.
* Responsible for communicating and waterfalling all company strategies, announcements, and weekly communication bulletins to direct reports.
* Perform duties according to all Company policies, procedures, and instructions.



What you'll need to succeed
* An enthusiastic and motivated individual who strives to succeed. Must be flexible and positive in their approach to work.
* Experience within a registered ISO9002 company would be desirable with evidence of working within set quality procedures.
* A previously qualified Trusted Assessor would be desirable, but training will be given on appointment so this is not a pre-requisite.

* Ideally qualified to GCSE level or above but will consider experience-based candidates.
* Must hold a full UK Driving License
