Your new role
Assistant Quantity Surveyor required to join the highways commercial team on target cost schemes in the Peterborough area

Key Duties:

• Ensure all costs are correctly allocated to Target Cost Schemes.
• Make monthly valuations to the Client.

• Keep records of all actual usage of plant, labour materials and other sub-contracted resources
• Deal with applications from sub-contractors and booking the cost to the correct orders
• Keep close contact with all Scheme Delivery Manager in relation to the actual cost's records and other needs for the delivery of Schemes
• Ensure schemes are closed out and agreed commercially with accuracy and within contract timescales
• Manage end to end scheme cost control from Target costing input to Final account agreement.
• Month end and CVR including attending site progress meetings and recording costs to compile applications and reviewing.

• Payment processing - reviewing/auditing supply chain applications for validity and appropriate certification/payless procedures.
• General NEC administration - NEC forms for change control, involving communicating with site teams and client.
• Administration and processing supply chain requisitions and Task Orders.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally on highways and NEC forms of contract
