Hays has partnered with a thriving construction contractor based in Nottinghamshire.. Due to sustained growth they are looking for a motivated and qualified Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The company has a strong presence in the local community delivering both public realm works and private developments. The organisation work regionally and have a genuine focus on quality.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the Project overseeing new build projects. These are likely to be in the residential new build / multiple occupancy projects, however you may also be working on commercial or heritage projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the build programme is followed and the quality on site is of a high standard. You will liaise with subcontract labour and materials suppliers. Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to on site and update all site paperwork. You will be able to review and interoperate drawings in order to spot any potential issues before they arise. You will be able to work independently in an organised fashion.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have a CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid and Health & Safety tickets. You will have new build housing or multiple occupancy experience such as care homes. Refurbishment experience would also be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £50k + package and the opportunity to work for a growing family run contractor.
