Electrical Engineer

A 6 month rolling contract for electrical design engineer working within the public sector.

Your new company
This is a public sector organisation with a range of properties, including schools, heritage buildings and residential properties. They work on both minor and major schemes, new built and refurbishment projects.

Your new role
You will be working alongside M&E engineers in the Capital Works team. Delivering concept and detailed designs, specifications and liaising with the end user client. You will use your technical knowledge on daily basis and will visit sites to make sure work is delivered as per the given design and within current regulations and legislations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a HND/HNC or Degree in Building Services with previous experience working as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer. You will have excellent technical knowledge that will allow you to analyse and challenged designs produced by others to make sure they will work on site. As this is a hands-on role you will be required to use relevant industry software, including AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech and Relux.

As well as competitive hourly rate, you will be working in a city centre location - easily accessible via public transport. This contract is likely to be extended beyond the initial 6 months. This is a flexible role working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
