Electrical Estimator

Your new company
Our client, a busy Major Electrical Contractor, is currently recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to work on major contracts. Based just outside of Ballymena, this contractor works across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Hospitality & Leisure and Healthcare throughout Northern Ireland.

Your new role
You will be involved in costing a range of electrical projects using drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders. You will participate in PQQ's / Proposals and regularly follow up tenders to gain insight and/or further opportunities. You will partake and attend review meetings with senior management and work closely with project managers to ensure smooth handover once contract is awarded.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an electrical estimating role. It is preferable that you will have an HNC or Higher Qualification (degree) in Building Services or Electrical Engineering. Qualified Electricians with estimating experience will also be considered. You will be commercially astute, a strong negotiator and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
