Clerk of Works (Building Fabric)

Long term Clerk of Works (Fabric) contract working on some of Glasgow's most prestigious projects

Your new company
A long term contract opportunity has become available for an experience building fabric Clerk of Works, working on some of the most prestigious projects in Glasgow. This contract is due to start immediately, and will be a long term contract which is expected to last for 12+ months.

Your new role
You will act as Clerk of Works on a number of high profile projects, both new build and refurbishment, which will vary in size, stage and complexity. Ideally you will come from a trades background such as joinery, and will have vast site experience on major projects within the education, health, commercial or residential sectors. MICWCI is preferred but not essential, as those with significant relevant experience will still be considered.

What you'll get in return
You can expect to be paid between £20 - £25 per hour, depending upon your previous experience and preferred payment method. Please be aware that this role falls inside of IR35, so you will have the option of being paid PAYE or through an umbrella company.
