Our construction and property business in Edinburgh is one of our longest established and successful businesses and due to a large increase in activity in the market we are seeking to appoint a recruitment resourcer to support our busiest business.


Your new role
As recruitment resourcer you will be responsible for generating a pipeline of suitably qualified and relevant candidates for our blue collar construction business. This will the following key activities:

• Writing and Placing Advertisements on a range of job boards including hays.co.uk
• Calling and talking to a range of blue collar construction candidates ensuring they are aware of the benefits of working through HAYS and highlighting relevant opportunities
• Updating and managing our database ensuring we can fill the roles we generate quickly and efficiently.
• Utilising social media , SMS and other tools to generate a flow of candidates

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator who enjoys talking to people over the phone. A core component of this role with the use of the phone to engage with and influence the trades and labour workforce in Edinburgh to call HAYS first when they are looking for their next position so an ability to generate rapport quickly will be essential.

Ideally the successful candidate will have some knowledge of construction and understand the stresses and strains of working in this industry.
