Clerk of Works - NHS Trust - Taunton

Clerk of Works required to supervise & manage two multi-million pound healthcare projects in Taunton

Your new company
As a qualified Clerk of Works you will be operating on the client-side, representing a Somerset based NHS Trust who are responsible for the delivery of two multi-million pound major estate development works located in Taunton.

Your new role
Your role will involve liaison with the estate and contractors project managers and design teams throughout all project phases to ensure work is being completed to the required quality and to the specification and design requirements. Your role will involve responsibility for all handover of projects, ensuring relevant data, records and manuals are available, accurate, and filed appropriately.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a relevant technical construction or engineering related qualification, this could be a degree, or an HNC / ONC. You'll need to have sound M&E instillation knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements related to EFM.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive daily rate of pay payable to you either via Hays, through an umbrella, or into a limited company with tax and NI deductions at source. You'll receive an initial interim contract of up to three months, which is likely to extend beyond this point.
