Senior MRICS Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham

A leading global construction consultancy is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their busy Midlands team. With experience gained within private practice or within a house builder you will ideally have excellent commercial and residential experience and will get to work on a portfolio of challenging projects. This opportunity offers excellent career prospects with rapid progression in a vibrant office.

Not only will you get to carry out the more traditional quantity surveying duties in the role, but you'll be able to work as a Bank or Fund Monitor too, managing and undertaking a portfolio of development monitoring projects from initial pre-lending appraisal through to completion of the developments; undertaking the initial appraisal of the proposed development comprising a review of the Borrower`s cost plan and a detailed risk analysis of every aspect of the proposed development to assess the risks to the Bank/Funder.

You need to have at least 5 years of post graduate experience at either consultancy or a house builder and be MRICS chartered or about to be so.
