Principle Structural Engineer job in Leicester. Exciting opportunity to grow & develop part of a business.

Your new role
You will work on a range of projects including existing and new structures ranging from small domestic to large commercial projects, such as residential, schools, churches, offices, listed buildings and design assistance on unique structural challenges. You will manage and develop a small team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. A key part of your role will also be new business development and building significant relationships with old and new clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You are an experienced Structural Engineer with design skills in a wide range of materials which must include a good design knowledge of concrete, masonry and steel. You can demonstrate a minimum of 8 years post graduate experience within structural engineering. You have a confident and proactive approach to developing new business and the ability to self -manage. You can show a good awareness of design using a wide range of materials and you have experience of projects and potential development opportunities. You have good technical knowledge with the ability to confidently deliver information both in writing and supporting verbally. You also have the ability to develop, supervise and manage junior staff and produce structural reports. You are also competent with Tekla Tedds. Ideally you are chartered but if not, you will be supported to achieve this.
