Senior Bid Manager - Main Contracting - Northamptonshire


A well known main contractor based in Northamptonshire are looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join their strategic projects side of the business. You will be joining a hugely successful Pre-Construction team in Northampton who focus on public sector projects including health, education, defence and custodial sectors.

You will ideally have a background working for a main contractor or consultant and an excellent understanding of the design and construction process. You will work on a wide range of bids within a supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality bids

As a Senior Bid Manager, you will lead the bid team and ensure clients are provided with properly constructed commercial and technical submissions to an industry leading standard. This will involve you chairing bid meetings and briefing the team, liaising closely with the client team as well as our internal subject matter experts and ensuring bids are completed on time complying with the companies policies.

Ideally you will need to be MCIOB or MRICS qualified (or similar) preferred with a qualification in either design, planning, project management or estimating. You must be able to demonstrate your experience in a leading bid role with experience on public sector projects valued from £80m plus.
