Permanent Project Manager role - Water - Derby - Civils and Build Contractor - Salary negotiable
Your new company
A leading Civils and Build Contractor based in Derbyshire are now seeking a Project Manager to join their Operational team. The company operate across multiple sectors however this role will see you working on a major water infrastructure framework across the Midlands area.
Your new role
You will be working with support from the Framework Manager to deliver water projects. You will have a strong health and safety understanding and adhere to the company's quality procedures. You will attend subcontract and client meetings and ensuring the programmes of work are created and updated regularly. You will have involvement in design and tender stage from time to time. You will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage trades staff and labour with a focus on project timescales and commercial viability.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will have significant industry experience. You will have worked within the water industry managing multiple sites on infrastructure deliver. You will have a strong working understanding of MS Project and CAD. You will hold an academic qualification (HND or above) in a relevant discipline, you will also hold a CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and Driving License. You will also have NEC3 / NEC 4 contract knowledge.
