A leading Civil, Structural & Environmental consultancy with offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh are looking to expand their busy team with the appointment of an ambitious Civil Design Engineer or Civil Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers / technicians who are looking to take the next step in their career and progress towards Chartership.

Your new role
Supporting senior staff, you will produce 2D & 3D drawings / models for a wide variety of projects such as windfarms, substations, residential schemes and roads design using a mix of AutoCAD & Civil 3D. As well as the technical draughting aspects of the role, you will also have the opportunity to develop your project management skills and design.


What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit an ambitious graduate engineer or technician, ideally with at least 3-4 years' industry experience, who is eager to take the next step in their career.

You should have:

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or similar) and an understanding of civil/structural engineering
• Previous experience using Civil 3D
• An understanding of what you are being asked to draw, and willingness / ability to design
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
