Contracts Manager opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering Contractor in Chester

A leading multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering Contractor based nr Chester are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to come and join their experienced team

Working on projects across the North West & North Wales, they are a leading SME Contractor with a highly respected and regarded reputation in the market

Your new role
Reporting directly into the Directors of the business, you'll play a leading role in the day to day operations of the business, and support the long term leadership, development and growth of the organisation

You'll be managing contracts to the value of up to £1m, which will vary from Civil Engineering, Groundworks, Industrial & Commercial. They operate within the Civil Engineering, PetroChem, Power Generation and Manufacturing sectors

You'll be responsible for supporting your site teams in the delivery of projects, H&S, programme management and the delivery of contracts on time, and within budget

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have previous experience working within a Contracts Manager role and ideally come from a Civil Engineering background (although this isn't a definite requirement)

You'll be a proven leader with the skills to get the best out of your people, whilst always leading from the front. You'll be a team player, you'll be able to engage with clients and stakeholders, and you'll expect and deliver the highest standards from your teams, but more importantly yourself

Salary on offer is between £45,000 - £50,000, with the usual benefits on top
