Assistant Building Services Manager

Permanent opportunity for assistant building services manager, to work for a main contractor in Manchester.

Your new company
Large construction and development group working across high rise residential, commercial, distribution, education and healthcare sectors. Current workload does include many high rise residential projects and commercial office blocks. Having recently secured a good pipeline of work, this contractor is now in a position to appoint an assistant building services manager to work alongside the current BSM.

Your new role
If you are looking for local project work, then this is a great opportunity for you. Most of their projects are North West based. You will be a site based manager, looking after the sub-contractors on site, making sure that the M&E services are installed correctly as per the designs and specifications and will then report on the progress of works.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be HNC/HND qualified in either mechanical or electrical discipline with an enthusiasm and eagerness to progress your career. This contractor is keen to support your studies further and help you progress.
Ideally you will have previous experience working for a main contractor or a tier 1 M&E sub-contractor.

What you'll get in return
This is a site based role so the mileage is paid from home to site. Alongside a competitive salary you will receive a car allowance and mileage. This contractor will also happily invest in your further education and training.
