As part of this studio's growth strategy, they are looking to add an Associate Director to their Glasgow Office. This is an excellent opportunity to join this company, becoming a key part of their future development, where there will be an opportunity to become a Partner in the business.
This business has a varied portfolio with well-designed and realised projects across a variety of sectors. Combining design flair, delivery and commercial acumen; their team has energy and creativity, with the backdrop of a strong and positive business set-up.
Due to current strong workload and imminent projects, you would be taking a leading role within the business management of staff and delivery of projects, before the role progresses onto a more client focused role, where you will be tasked with bringing in additional work. You will be an experienced and ambitious architect (ARB/RIBA), with not only a design and delivery track record of large scale projects, but also have a track record in winning work.
- First and foremost, you will have a positive approach, a person who enjoys the challenge and prospect of a leading role within the Glasgow Architectural market.
- You will be confident in managing the client relationship; managing and coordinating the design team's information; leading and managing the production team; managing information output to programme and to quality standards; managing the administration of the project, including contract admin, programme and reporting; deliver through to site stage, and respective duties such as site inspection.
- As a key part of this growing business you will be responsible for inspiring and mentoring internal teams, pitching and presenting to clients, developing design and provide technical leadership. Commercial management, new business strategies and proven strong relationships with key clients are also critical.
