Your new company

A boutique building services consultancy based in the popular area of Soho, London. With a reputation for excellent design, working closely with architects to consistently deliver quality projects. Founded in Scandinavia they have grown into an international consultancy, with offices stretching across the globe. However, regardless of their success they have focused on maintaining their Nordic ethos and approach to work, focusing on improving every aspect of the office & team environment. With fascinating projects often revolving around the cultural and listed space they have developed a fascinating portfolio. Off the back of an impressive 12 months, they are now looking to expand their London team, seeking an experience Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer.

Your new role

You will join as the Associate / Principal Electrical Design Engineer in the London office. Taking lead of the electrical design process, working closely with your Director, and managing a small team of 4 electrical engineers. A key aspect of your role will be to take a lead role on projects, overseeing more junior members of staff and ensuring quality design is achieved. You will also have an external focus on business development and client management, looking to develop existing relationships and bring in new business where possible.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced electrical design specialist, with experience working at an Associate level with the consultancy environment. Equally, if you're are a Principal Engineer or experience Senior Engineer looking for a step-up, this role may also be suitable. You will have experience leading on a variety of projects, ideally you will have experience on cultural projects (museums etc) however this is not essential. Ideally you will be charted with CIBSE or a comparable institute, although this isn't essential.

What you'll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established consultancy, with over 90 years of experience, at a time of targeted growth. This role has a clear progression path through to director level. Due to the strong connections with their international offices there will also be the chance to transfer in the future. The role also is offering an impressive base salary + bonus. They also have a brand-new modern office, which has designer furniture, cutlery and art.
