Permanent Estimator, Derbyshire job, Minor / Medium Civils and Build, Circa 50K + Package

Your new company
You will be working for an innovative civil engineering contractor based in Derbyshire. The organisation has a family run feel and complete work packages up to the value of £2M. Due to continued success in the market the company are seeking an Estimator to join their ranks on a permanent basis.


Your new role
You will be working as part of a dynamic and successful commercial team. The position will involve the running of multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for measurements, tender quires and producing documentation. You will also produce take offs and attend both pre and post contract meetings. You will be working on NEC3 /4, FIDIC and ICE forms of contract. You must be able to estimate from first principles, ie. i.e. labour, plant, materials and subcontractors and Calculating outputs

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong civil engineering background and be an experienced Estimator. You will also ideally have experience of working on projects in a range of sectors such as water treatment, flood alleviation, foundations, industrial build, drainage and substation works. . A formal qualification is required as is a full UK driving license.
