Quantity Surveyor - Plymouth (Working from Home)

Quantity Surveyor required for an interim role working for a local authority in Devon. Duration up to 6 months

Your new company
You will be working for a public sector organisation based in Devon who have been at the forefront of a wide range of major investment projects across the region. These including cultural and tourism works, town centre improvements and brownfield regeneration schemes.

Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work to achieve a cost effective, comprehensive and quality service on behalf of the council, ensuring that projects are financially completed successfully. You will input across tender processes, valuations and analysis of financial statements, monitoring projects which are at construction phase, organising and providing final accounts where required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you'll need to have a background or experience in a Quantity Surveying position, delivering projects in construction phase. Ideally you'll have worked on the client-side or within the public sector previously, however if you have a background working for a consultant or for a contractor this will also be considered.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial contract of between 4-6 months in duration, this is likely to extend beyond this point. You'll receive a competitive daily rate dependent on your level of experience.
