Assistant M&E Project Manager - Principal Contractor - East Midlands - Temp to Perm - Immediate start

Your new company
Hays Building Services are working with a Principal Contractor who require an Assistant M&E Project Managers to support with minor works valued up to 50k within the Healthcare sector. Most of the projects Building Services related however other backgrounds (Building Services / Infrastructure) are welcomed.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing projects from conception through to completion valued up to £50k. You will ensure accuracy of works, high quality installations, quality control, as well as communicating technical information the Senior Project Manager. Other responsibilities will include preconstruction stages, design management, representing the company at meetings, tendering, appointing contractors, issuing paperwork, CDM's, Project Management and working with live sites and relocating services.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant qualifications or trade background (HNC/HND Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical time-served apprentice)
• Experience working on minor works / project valued in the thousands.
• Good M&E Technical knowledge / ability.
• Experience of managing M&E contractors.
• SMSTS
• Career driven with a desire to progress within a Project Management role.

• Immediate start
• Full-time, 5 days a week
• Up to £25 per hour (PAYE rate slightly lower)
• Flexible working hours + work from home options
• Temp to perm contract
• Continual support & guidance from Senior Project Manager's
