Facilities Technician M&E Contract

Your new company
This managed service provider provides IT infrastructure for businesses across the UK. They have a data centre in Harrogate and need a Technician to join the team on a contract basis.

Your new role
You role is to maintain the daily M&E operational requirements for the data centre, ensuring all service deliveries remain within SLA's and provide support services for current and future operational requirements. You will manage all types of maintenance, reactive and preventative, on all M&E plant and equipment. The role will also include decommissioning, relocation and installation of IT equipment. You will escort contractors on site, ensure the general upkeep of the building and manage the CCTV systems.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a data centre providing FM and M&E services. You will have 18th edition and ideally a Mechanical & Electrical qualification. You will be flexible in your approach to the working hours, ensuring requests are met in a timely manner and SLA's are maintained. You will have the ability to work independently and travel if necessary.
