Your new company
A leading house builder are looking for a Quantity Surveyor experienced in managing roads, sewers and ground works packages. The business are looking to supplement their estimating and commercial team with someone who can excel in managing cost in the ground, interrogate ground reports, and work with external consultants, as well as their in house technical and engineering teams to ensure best value outcomes are achieved in the ground. The business have had a successful year end despite the challenges of Covid, and are in a strong position to pay bonus out to staff this year. This is a house builder with a strong regional presence, and 5* house builder status.

Your new role
You will oversee the commercial delivery of roads and sewers packages, so the ability to do take offs on roads and sewers schemes is essential for this role. You will engage with ground works subcontractors to ensure best value outcomes with regards to valuations. You will work closely with internal technical team members and external consultants to interrogate ground reports, and roads and sewers designs from a commercial stand point.

What you'll need to succeed
You are and experienced Quantity Surveyor or Estimator with a good history of delivering best financial outcomes roads, sewers and ground works packages on residential developments. This business will consider someone with a ground works are house building background,
