Senior management role with a large public body at the forefront of a landmark facility in Belfast City Centre

Your new company
Our client is one of the Northern Ireland's largest public sector employers who have been in operation across the province for over 50 years. Due to the size of this organisation and their continued growth they now require a Station Manager to join them at the head of one of Belfast and Northern Irelands key investment projects.
This opportunity comes with the chance to be at the forefront of the delivery and running of one of Belfast and Northern Ireland's most exciting mixed used regeneration development projects in recent times.

Your new role
This position has two phases, the first phase is Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition assisting with the final stages of the new build prior to opening the facility this will included duties such as detailed design, coordinating construction phase changes, monitoring health & safety and with the support of the business change team, reporting on project benefits. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that end user requirements of the facility are delivered.

The second and ongoing phase is Business as Usual. On a daily basis it will be your responsibility to ensure the facility is presented at the highest standard and that your team welcome each user and provide sufficient assistance.

As Station Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of running the station facility as well as Property Maintenance (i.e. M&E and building fabric), Facilities Management (i.e. cleaning & security) and Estates Management (i.e. tenant liaison & lease agreements)

What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible to apply for this position you must have:
Degree level qualification or equivalent in Built Environment/Business/Transport related subject or a STEM subject.
Experience of property maintenance, facilities management of estates management in a multi-disciplinary customer facing operational facility.
Experience of managing effective communications
Financial management and commercial experience
Experience of using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of health and safety, environmental and employment legislation
Experience of managing in a unionised environment would be highly beneficial.
