Bespoke Developer Seeks Site Manager for new development in Edinburgh.
Your new company
Our client are a well established builder developer who have been operating in the Edinburgh market for over 20 years. With a busy 2021 ahead of them they are seeking a Site Manager for a significant residential development close to Edinburgh city centre.
Your new role
As Site Manager you will be reporting to your contracts manager and being directly responsible for the delivery a development comprising 50 high end residential apartments across two blocks. This is a brand new development to get your teeth into and offers a site manager the opportunity to have a real input into build strategy, methodology and subcontract selection. As the project develops you will be running the job on a daily basis and ensuring it is hitting its quality , time and safety targets.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client build quality developments and have a strong brand in the premium apartment market in Edinburgh so are seeking a site manager with strong attention to detail and someone who likes producing quality. You will need to be from a trade or degree background and have demonstrated experience of delivering flatted developments previously. Our client are a loyal employer who look after their key staff and they are seeking someone who can be with them for the next 5 to 10 years and complete multiple successful developments with them.
This will suit an experienced residential site manager who is perhaps working for a volume housebuilder and is seeking to work on a project which will offer a building challenge and will offer a less bureaucratic and numbers driven environment. Our client are also willing to consider an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is ready to step up into running their own project.
