Your new company
I am excited to be supporting one of the UK's largest property and planning consultants in their search for a Planner to join their growing team in Cambridge. This national firm work in both residential and commercial sectors as well as specialist sectors such as transport and infrastructure. Offering a range of versatile services to their clients, this company is a prominent player in the property and planning market nationwide.Due to rapid growth in the Eastern Regions planning department since its inception 12 months ago, they are looking to take on a diligent planner to assist on a varied existing project portfolio.

Your new role
As the Planner / Senior Planner you will work on a variety of projects such as small single unit residential dwellings, large scale 300 plus unit plots, various commercial projects, exciting new city centre developments and industrial projects on greenfield land. The projects you will be involved with will provide an exciting challenge due to the varying nature in complexity. Your clients will range from developers to local authorities and some interesting niche ones. You will get the opportunity to work a well-established health care provider who are working on the roll out of several state-of-the-art dementia treatment facilities with breakthrough cutting edge technology set to change the way in which dementia is treated forever.

What you'll need to succeed
As the planner you will need to be a driven and diligent individual with excellent communications skills. You will be expected to work on projects of varying degrees of complexity and although you will be supported you will need to have a logical and analytical approach to your work. Joining one of the largest consultancies with a track record of immense success you will be joining a planning team at a very influential time in its shaping. You will therefore need to be motivated and have the desire to progress with the team and help shape its future. This vacancy is open to graduate planners with RTPI accredited degrees all the way to senior planners who are MRTPI. If you are on a RICS pathway of planning and development, you are also encouraged to apply.
