Permanent opportunity for a residential construction specialist to join a professional surveying firm

Your new company provide services across quantity surveying, project management, employers agent activity, building surveying and land assembly - all areas which could be open for you to progress your career in the medium to longer term.

Your new role
Your role will involve the technical inspection of residential properties to identify the likely positions of fire barriers in property, and where investigatory holes should be drilled. As well as inspection, your role will also include the assistance of operatives on site, recording where barriers are missing and making recommendations on the work required to resolve any issues.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have an excellent understanding of domestic construction processes, both masonry and timber frame property. You may have specific enhanced understanding of part b of the building regulations, and sections of the NHBC standards.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive a permanent employment contract which will include 30 days annual leave including bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme and a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits. Alongside this you'll receive a permanent salary of between £34,000 - £36,000 per year.
