An independent commercial property company who hold commercial assets across the UK are looking to strengthen their asset management department by acquiring an MRICS Investment and Development Manager. This leading UK business boasts financial stability and security along with a modern commercial attitude to deliver profitable returns on investment whilst improving and developing their estate for their tenants and customers.

Your new role

Permanent Role: Investment & Development Manager
Function: Property & Asset Management

This role has been designed for an MRICS qualified surveyor who holds transnational experience from an asset management prospective along with core development exposure to help achieve optimal returns on capital investments inline with the asset business plans. This role will require a surveyor who can execute investment and development programmes which may increase rental income, reduce voids or vacant units, and improve the quality of the estate.

What you'll need to succeed


The successful application will ideally be MRICS Qualified with post qualification experience and have the ability to demonstrate the following;

  • Hold a core understanding of capital development & refurbishments.
  • The ability to deliver capital investment cases or projects in line with the asset business plans.
  • Manage developments through viability, planning, procurement & costing stages.
  • Identify opportunities across the estate to create and leverage value.
  • A background of track record within transactions.
