Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

I am currently working with one of the UK's leading housebuilder's who are looking to expand their Commercial team with an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role

As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Maintain all cost control procedures, and working within the guidelines set out within the Group policies and procedures
• Completion of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
• Managing and controlling the budget and valuations
• Compile site start budget
• Maintain budget control throughout development
• Prepare tenders and procure sub-contractors
• Process subcontract orders, payments and variations
• Attend all project and team meetings as required
• Liaise with site personnel and subcontractors in order to maximise productivity

What you'll need to succeed

In order for you to succeed, you will need to represent the following competencies:

• Qualified to HND level or higher
• Full understanding of the house building sector
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Team player and supportive of colleagues
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements

What you'll get in return

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience and a generous package which includes Company Car / Car Allowance, 25 days Annual Leave Entitlement, Bupa Healthcare and Pension Contribution.
