Building Surveyor (Disrepair Surveys) - Exeter and Plymouth

Chartered Building Surveyor required to undertake ad-hoc disrepair surveys across Exeter and Plymouth regions

Your new company
You will be working for a national firm of chartered surveyors, expert witnesses and project managers, who are undertaking disrepair surveys in relation to housing disrepair claims. This work will be undertaken on behalf of solicitors and case management companies.

Your new role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor you will undertake disrepair surveys for residential properties across the south west. You'll inspect properties for defects which could cover both building fabric & mechanical and electrical issues.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you'll need to be a professional member of RICS, and have excellent building pathology or technology understanding. Ideally you'll have experience in producing residential property defect reports.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll be able to work flexibly managing your own diary across the week. You'll work outside scope of IR35, meaning you'll receive a gross payment per survey completed of between £165 - £180 per survey.
