Leading Builder Developer seeks Quantity Surveyor for Residential Projects in Edinburgh.

Your new company

Our client are a national builder developer who specialise in the development and construction of large flatted developments across urban environments nationally. With a large business in Scotland they are now seeking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their experienced team.


Your new role
As Quantity surveyor you will be commercially managing your own project with the support of your experienced commercial director. Initially ensuring your subcontract packages are procured effectively you will then focus on the effective contracts management of the project working closely with the operational team to drive the project to hit operational and commercial targets.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be from a main contracting or housebuilding background who has a degree qualification in quantity surveying. You will have worked on residential projects previously and have an interest and passion in producing a high quality of work and delivering a superior result for your employer and client. Perhaps you are working in a housebuilder environment and wish to step into a company where you can fully deploy your quantity surveying expertise across all facets of a project from design through to methodology. Our clients projects are bespoke designs and require bespoke commercial and operational solutions.
