Adaptations Surveyor

Your new company
My Client, a public sector organisation based in West London who manage over 5000 social housing and corporate properties, are currently looking to recruit an Aids and Adaptations Surveyor. An increase in workload within the social housing team has led to the requirement of an additional surveyor.

Your new role
As the Aids and Adaptations surveyor it will be your responsibility to manage projects such as wet rooms, access ramps and other projects to help residents/tenants with disabilities. An essential part of the job will include, specification writing and managing / monitoring contractor works. You will also regularly liaise with the occupational therapists to ensure the best possible solutions are implemented in all cases or projects.
You will also carry out site surveys and designs in resident/tenants homes.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate it is essential that you are an experienced Aids and Adaptations surveyor with experience of dealing with OT's and residents. Knowledge of the Disability Act is essential. If you have experience of using Autocad or other design packages it will help your application but is not an essential requirement of the job.
As this role will require you to go from site to site a car or motor cycle is essential.
