Permanent Estimator role, Roofing and Cladding, Home working for first Year, Notinghamshire

Your new company
You will be working for a growing privately owned roofing and cladding contractor who are based in Nottinghamshire. The company have continued to secure a strong pipeline of work as such they are now looking to add an experience Estimator to their commercial team.

Your new role
You will be working on projects varying from new build to refurbishment and maintenance. The value of the projects will range between £1k - £1m. The contractor have a large client basis ranging from Manufacturing companies, Retail Giants, Travel and Public realm. You will be part of a small team who are responsible for estimating work for various projects, predominantly rainscreen and single ply roofing systems and metal roofs. You will need to gather proposals, drawings, specifications and all related documents from the clients and manufacturers. You will Estimate labour, material and time requirements and produce Bills of Quantity. The role will involve seeing the project through from start to finish including procurement with assistance from the Contracts team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong Estimating background in the relevant sector. You will have a high knowledge in the following roofing systems, Kingspan, Tata, HD Sharman, Plygene Gutter Liners, Giromax roof coating, Composite roofs, Wall cladding, built up twin systems, rain screen cladding and single ply flat roof. You will have experience of negotiating and winner tenders, developing strong client relationships and negotiation with sub-contractors. The role will require accuracy in appropriate documentation and the ability to take off from drawings.You will calculate final figures for the estimated cost and adjustments for over heads profit. You will have excellent IT and Computer skills alongside strong interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to work autonomously on various projects simultaneously. You must also hold a Full UK Driving License and have your own vehicle.
