Your new company
A highly regarded Civil, Structural & Transportation consultancy based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to appoint a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to their team who can contribute to their success and help to strengthen and grow the capabilities of their existing transportation team. They are particularly interested in those with previous experience or a background in traffic signal design.

Your new role
Your new role will involve working within a strong team of transport planners, mainly focusing on development planning projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing a number of technical reports, travel plans/assessments
• Preliminary design work, feasibility design & contributing to tenders
• Traffic Signal Design
• Project management of the schemes
• Supporting senior leadership in managing more junior members of the team/graduates and start to contribute to winning work along side associates and principal planners.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be a Senior Transport Planner with 5-7 years' relevant experience. You will have a broad understanding of all elements of transport planning, and a solid grasp of technical standards and software packages including LinSig, Junctions 9 (ARCADY / PICADY) and AutoCAD.
