This award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy, operate across the public and private sector, with a large proportion of what they do coming from the social housing and education sectors.

Over the course of the lockdown and as they emerge from it, they have been busy developing existing and building new client relationships, which now puts them in a position of guaranteed work for the foreseeable future and new framework agreements which will add to their workload. This puts them in a great position to add to their teams and get back to their planned growth targets from pre-covid.
One of those key recruits is a Partner to work with one of the Equity Partners to help grow and build a team, that will subsequently be part of a new office. This role will allow someone to be part of that recruitment process to grow that team, as well as be involved in the strategic plans to generate new business and build on the current client base to retain work.
Your new role
In the role of the Partner, you will be tasked and measured in the following: assist with the expansion and provision of building surveying based in the new office. The successful individual will be responsible for managing a small team, developing new and existing client base to achieve team targets whilst undertaking building surveying instructions. The candidate must be versed and able to undertake all aspect of building surveying and have previous experience on managing a team. The successful candidate will also be targeted on fee and income generation for the team, putting together fee proposals and in some cases forming part of the bid team, so proven track record in fee generation is a must.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following: be qualified either with a recognised construction or surveying degree or QBE, but also hold MRICS status. A full understanding of fee proposals, income and generation and be able to manage a team accordingly in line with the agreed costs. You will need to be comfortable with business development, networking and be prepared to deal with clients as the face of the business. You should be able to motivate and lead a small team, maintaining a balance of work and fun.
