Permanent Contracts Manager - Water Treatment - Nottinghamshire - £50k - £55k + Package

Your new company
You will be working for a specialist Water Management contractor in Nottinghamshire. The organisation have works across Groundwater control, Pumping Tests & Surface Water Management projects. The organisation operate nationally but the position will predominantly be based out of the Nottinghamshire office. They are now seeking a permanent Contracts Manager to join their Operational team.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the UK operations Director and working on projects ranging from £10k and £5m. Projects will include Groundwater control, Open loop schemes, Pumping tests amongst other areas. You will be responsible for liaising with Directors, Design, Technical and Commercial teams internally and leading subcontract negotiation. You will work closely with the commercial teak to ensure the project is running to budget. You will directly manage site activities and liaise with site staff and engineers on the projects. You will be a project lead on multiple work streams simultaneously, with the role involving some site visits at key stages. The position will require you to maintain a documentary record of contractual activities.
You will also produce project reports, prepare method statements, appoint a site team and negotiating payments. You will also lead in health and safety standards on site.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will be a hardworking and dedicated individual that has a minimum of 10 years of experience within the water treatment sector. You will hold a degree level qualification in an construction related discipline. You will have a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering and a Full UK driving license. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role requires a strong people management skills and excellent contract negotiation skills.
