Technical / Grad Bid Writer working with a world class leading Highways business

Your new company
You'll be joining a leading Highways business responsible for working on large high-profile projects across the UK. Classed as a "Tier 1" Contractor, they are responsible for constructing and maintaining road networks across the UK

Your new role
You'll ideally have previous Technical Bid Writing experience gained across Civil Engineering; ideally within Heavy Civils, Highways or Infrastructure

You'll be joining an experienced team; successful in winning large, high-profile projects; surrounded by teams of individuals who are responsible for the success of this leading business

Typical duties and responsibilities will include:

• Review and understand client tender documents, developing and providing tender briefings
• Support the Bid team in quality and well-structured submissions for tenders and PQQ's
• Attend and actively contribute to tender meetings
• Contribute to tender submissions
• Support Storyboard sessions
• Support the bid submission process
• Provide guidance and support with high quality content and writing

You'll need previous experience of working in a similar role and ideally come from a Civil Engineering background

You'll need a genuine and personal interest within Net Carbon Zero and a passion for environmental and sustainability management - this will shape our world and highways for the future

Although this role is based out of their Manchester office, you could live anywhere in the UK. This is an opportunity to work remotely, although the expectation is that you would have to be mobile, and some visits per month to the Manchester office would be expected
