Permanent Quantity Surveyor job, Derbyshire, Regional Main Contractor, Residential and Commercial build - £40k

Your new company
You will be working for a growing privately owned regional contractor in Derbyshire, The organisation have an excellent reputation with their clients and have secured repeat work on multiple projects. The company undertake both new build and refurbishment in the commercial and residential sector. They are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
You will be working alongside the Construction Manager, Director and Buyer as a Quantity Surveyor. Your role will involve managing the build up of costs, cash flows and budgets. You will be working closely to ensure that sub-contractors are meeting the contractual terms and placing orders. The role requires the successful applicant to complete valuations, variations and final accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have between 2 and 5 years of post graduate experience of working for a main contractor. You will have strong JCT and NEC contract knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will hold a full UK driving license.

What you will receive
The salary on offer is between £30k and £40k dependant on previous experience. You will also receive a car or car allowance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor that have a dynamic team set up and will continue to go from strength to strength.
