Estates Officer - NHS - Devon - £25.60 per hour


Your new company
As an Estates Officer you will join an NHS Trust and leading provider of healthcare services across the Devon region. You will join a building maintenance and project delivery team who are responsible for the day to day maintenance of a diverse portfolio of operational buildings across this region.

Your new role
As an Estates Officer you will deliver a wide range of minor building works across the NHS Trust estate, these will include day to day repairs valued at up to £10,000, through to larger projects valued at up to £50,000. These works could include M&E maintenance improvements, through to small refurbishments of property. Your role will involve undertaking initial site inspections, providing advice on the works required, engaging with contractors and supervising quality of work.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you'll need to have a background in building maintenance or facilities management. You'll ideally have an HNC in building surveying, or engineering, or similar.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive an initial three month contract position, which is highly likely to extend beyond this point. You'll also receive an hourly rate of pay of up to £25.61 per hour.
