Facilities Manager, Swansea, Temporary (3 months+ sickness cover), £23.00 per hour, Immediate Start.

Your new company are an FM consultancy that deliver contracts across the UK to a wide to a large client portfolio worth £200m per annum.

Their insights into the sector have been derived from acting both as a Prime Contractor, directly delivering all accommodation services, and as a contract management unit, delivering services through an outsourced model.

Your new role
Responsibility for the management of the technical team and overall performance of the Hard Services, Service Partner.

Provide technical leadership across the estate, taking ownership for the implementation of innovative Planned Maintenance solutions, including leadership of job plan suitability and auditing of the overall PPM regime.

Ensure that all buildings are provided with resilient building services maintained to a high quality and ensure Statutory Compliance obligations and contractual requirements are met.

Duties;

• We have a number of corrective actions and non-conformances raised against us and need someone to pick up this work with our service partner and report back to the client
• We have FRA's that have been completed and these have generated a number of corrective actions. Again need to liaise with service partner and client
• We had a survey carried out on lifts that has generated a number of corrective actions and need someone to pick this up with service partner
• Pick up the issues raised in the hard services meeting and work with service partner to close them out
• Ensure the extra works are being carried out by service partner, such as new switchgear being installed.
• Carry out a survey of UPS and electrical switch rooms
• Review O & M manuals
• Review reports received from service partners

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to showcase extensive experience in the operational management of complex building or similar engineering services, gained in either operational engineering or maintenance environments in large premises for critical users.

FM qualifications/memberships preferred but not essential

DBS certificate *Hays can run one of these for you if you do not already have one*

What you'll get in return
37.5 hours per week, flexible working (2/3 days from home and the remaining on site in Swansea), IT equipment provided, £23.00 per hour, immediate start following relevant checks being cleared, circa 3 months sickness cover however contract may well be extended.
